A/Prof Fear is a Senior Scientist at the Fiona Wood Foundation and Associate Professor at the Burn Research Unit, University of Western Australia. Dr Fear graduated from the University of London in 2003 with a PhD studying skin and non-melanoma skin cancer molecular signaling pathways. Dr Fear subsequently worked in therapeutic development with Phylogica before working with Prof Fiona Wood in burn injury research since 2006. Dr Fear has over 100 research publications and both government and philanthropic funding support. Dr Fear’s research focuses on systemic and local impacts of acute trauma, scarring and fibrosis.
