Dr Kristen Nowak, PhD is Director, Office of Population Health and Genomics, Western Australian (WA) Department of Health, and has a health genomics and rare disease research background. Her policy office aids translation of evidence-based genomic and screening technology and knowledge into health systems. Her team led the development and is now leading the implementation of the WA Genomics Strategy 2022-2032: Towards Precision Medicine and Precision Public Health. Kristen is also an investigator on multiple genomics, screening, Indigenous genomics and rare disease research grants.
