The ARC Training Centre for Next Gen-Technologies for Biomedical Analysis is funded by the Australian Government through the Industrial Transformation Research Program. The Centre was awarded funds in 2021 and commenced in 2023 and is funded for 4 years.

Administration Organisation is within the School of Molecular Science at University of Western Australian based in Perth and is a collaboration with University of New South Wales, Monash University, University of Surrey and our industry partners.

The university-industry partnership will increase Australia’s manufacturing capability by fast tracking screening, by integrating 3D printing, advanced sensing, big data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence for the delivery of optimal solutions in diagnosis, treatment and wellbeing. The centre will deliver training in Industry 4.0 skills which will boost early-stage scale-up and accelerate the sector’s supply chain, which is pivotal for the Australian industries to maintain a competitive edge.

    Our PhD students have been joining the Centre from September 2023 until now.  Not only those PhD’s receiving scholarships but also many Masters and Honours students participating in the Centre too.
